It would have been enough to keep us up, if it was done pre-WC or possibly even pre-New Year. As it is, no, we'll still go down. I almost guarantee we'll go down with more than the absolute whimper that was being churned out on the regular under Lampard, though. About the best we can hope for, at this point.

Frank unfortunately is very green as a coach and probably should have learned his trade elsewhere before taking on a dangerous job like Everton.

I do think the World Cup came at a terrible time and took the piss out of the season, but even then to fail this badly is on him.

I just think we are in too deep at this point. Unless we can somehow luck into bringing in a stellar manager, we will be teetering on the edge. It’s a terrible culture, awful financial situation and quite Frankly (no pun intended) an unreliable front office. Scary times to be an Evertonian. More at 6

Getting 6 weeks off should have been a godsend for the club to get its affairs in order for the rest of the season,

Start planning transfers and potentially a new manager. Instead they went to Australia and forgot we are crap.

All I know is I'm well and truly vaulted.. looking at the games ahead Vs "possible" points I see even a devine god couldn't get us out of the shizzle.

Breaks can be good for a team with a winning culture. For one such as ourselves it can completely kill any enthusiasm or momentum dead in its tracks. As you said yourself, we forgot we are crap. I think that is literally true
