I think people judge him because he's unassuming on the pitch but the stats don't lie and he's very effective at the role he plays. Definitely physically imposing but perhaps would struggle in a pressing side.

He was immense in the final but until then I wasn't impressed by him at the Euros.

However when I've seen him for Sporting he's impressed me...

Not sure if he's got the pace for the premier league though, but for me I'd like to see McCarthy and Besic given a go in a holding role first (presuming we could get Witsel in that box to box role), rather than spend however much on Carvalho.

However if he is a target and RK wants him, and he does come in, then I'll be fully behind it.
