Back in the day and I'm talking 1969 here there used to be a Little Chef somewhere past the Queensferry by-pass. After a v late Sat night and an early start Sun morning the full bifta of sausage, bacon, black pudding, egg, beans, toast and coffee was just the job until we made it to our 'tame' pub in Wales that not only opened on Sunday, but didn't close at 2.00pm

So it's Little Chef for me.
Can feel my arteries hardening just thinking about both.

They actually still exist? Was the go to place for a lad larking about in Bristol in my youth. Union Street by The Odeon, or Park Street near the 2nd hand record shops. Yes kids, plural. THREE!! 2nd hand record shops on one street, plus a Wimpy was a late 70s, early 80s kinda heaven back then. @ste d' indica

Little Chefs were for stop offs on long car drives for holidays in Cornwall on the A30 or A38 before someone thought a motorway down that way was a decent idea.
