Rioja and Malbec are my go to wines. Not that I'm an expert or anything.

Same too a lot of the time, both Argentian and French Malbecs and white riojas are very tasty as well as the ubiquitous reds.

Although a nice Beaujolais is great in Summer. Or Winter too. Pinot noir is sometimes hit and miss with in my experience but then if you get a great one, oh la la.

Quite the timely thread this, i only had one glass out of the second bottle i opened with the Sunday roast yesterday and ive happily polished it off now.

Going to open a bottle of Flora and Fauna white which is also very yummy.

Used to hate wine till I went to Lisbon a few years back for New Years. Absolutely love a deep red now.

I find living on my own I tend to drink less wine because I can't get through the whole bottle on my own. Tends to lead to me throwing a lot away.

Use it for sauces mate.

You can even freeze it in an ice cube tray for this purpose I'm informed.

I usually have a bottle of red open, lasts fine for a few days. Although i think 3 is the maximum I've kept it for without finishing, can't speak for it's reliability after that.
