Winter Blackouts

If we get a winter blackout for 3 hours a day, what should we do with our lives? Apart from dogging and sleeping I don’t see what else I could do with them 3 hours.

Any other suggestions please?

Blackouts likely to be dead of night, like 0200-0500. But those doing home-office night-shifts will have a problem.

I'm pretty sure my boiler doesn't work without power. So if it's daytime or early evening and it's really cold that could be doubly crap.

Anyway, I hear candles are a sound investment as well as books and board games. Thermal clothing too.

This whole Ukraine stuff has really highlighted how moronic the majority of Governments have been with regards to energy over the last God knows how many years.
