Cunha is a massive loss for us, should make you favourites. But as good as he is, and I think he is brilliant, he doesn't track back and has been playing like he knows he is better than us. (which he is, but you don't like him acting like it). A lot of throwing his arms everywhere, moaning at others and everything went through him.
So we're clinging to the hope that it will be a better collective tomorrow, and whilst we lost 3-0 to Forest without him in January, we actually attacked quite well and missed some sitters that night.
The main point will be Agbadou.
I've seen a few mentions about our defence and how bad it is, but it all depends on this guy.
Dawson isn't even registered with us, so he won't be about. (unfortunately for you)
Agbadou has been superb for us since he joined. A real class above. Not necessarily shown in the results but he was that good that we're kind of wondering why we managed to get him relatively cheap (£15m) and why he hadn't been picked up by a top club given he is now 27.
Admittedly it was only 5/6 games but he was excellent, but he did his hamstring at Liverpool. He is now back in training but not certain if he will start.
If he doesn't, Santiago Bueno will play. He's Uruguayan but must be the only Uruguayan who has nothing about him. He's a decent technical centre-back but absolutely not cut out for the English game. He was bullied all night by Rodrigo Muniz last week. Just not got the physicality to cope. If you could design a defender to face Beto, it would be him.
So whoever plays out of Agbadou/Bueno is going to have a big bearing on our chances.
Would expect this XI:
Sa
Doherty, Agbadou or Bueno, Toti
Semedo, Andre, Gomes, Ait-Nouri
Bellegarde, Munetsi
Larsen
Doherty is a doubt and if he doesn't play it will be Nasser Djiga, who is better physically, so that might help us as well given your threats.
I don't think we're as bad as made out. We've generally competed well under Pereira. Much more organised.
Also got a lot of players back for the bench which is a big thing. Hwang, Sarabia (both could easily play ahead of Munetsi & Bellegarde), Guedes and Rodrigo Gomes mean we actually have some options from the bench.
I expect you to edge it but it should be close.
Tbh Molineux has never really been a happy hunting ground for us, so i would not be unhappy with a draw, it keeps our run going at least.
