It’s a very unfamiliar feeling, to look at the lineups and think we have a good chance of winning. The Evertonian in me somehow feels like any kind of optimism will be seen by the gods as fate tempting and will result in a heavy defeat, 6 more injuries and a 19 point deduction, so I’ll say 5-0 Wolves.

COYB.
Can you share the wolves lineup, their Bluesky account doesn’t seem to post too often.

Line up is what we should of expected, but that bench doesn't look to bad now

Especially since I think the likes of Patterson & Chermiti are probably fit enough to actually be an option at some point

BBC going for a weird Football Manager lineup with Branthwaite in goal and Pickford upfront

I love it.

Had a full Saturday, sitting down with a beer to enjoy the match.

Though of course I do feel bad for the travelling Blues. Anything out of the ordinary is a pain, which I acknowledge and respect.

I don’t travel away any more but I still look at away fixtures through the eyes of those who do travel.

And whilst it is great for you and me to sit at home watching on Saturday night watching the footy, being in Wolverhampton @ 10. pm on a Saturday night with a long journey home is no fun.

I've no idea how a fella who supposedly played footy to a decent level continues to blow the trumpet for one of the worst technical players I've ever seen play for us

….it says lots about how managers rate him. It says lots that Moyes brings him straight in after a decent performance at Brentford.

Frustratingly poor technically, that really goes without saying but Moyes (and Dyche) clearly think he’s very effective in other aspects of the game. I understand that.

I don’t really bang the drum for him, I just understand why they pick him.

Yeah, I see that as I say. The problem is as much about British transport provision as anything else.

Still, here’s hoping that the shivering on the platform will be worth it for those that have gone.
