If you win here you have to have a good performance. We had a good game. The game was in the balance, we won thanks to Michael Keane, who scored a fantastic goal.

The players adapted really well. The position of James Rodriguez and Gylfi Sigurdsson in front was really good. We adapted well to the characteristics of our players.

Without Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin it is more difficult to score but I think to be focussed defensively enabled us to have a good game."

We knew this would be a difficult game to play here.
We played the game we had planned. We avoided to concede counter-attacks and tried to find the chance to be clinical when the opportunity came.

We had a different approach without Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin. We played more to attack the flanks with Iwobi and Digne and it worked well because the first goal was a fantastic combination.

Michael Keane is unbelievable with his head. His goal helped us to stay in a good position in the table.
We perform better away because at home we don't have the support of our fans at the moment, which is really important. When we played with 2,000 of our supporters against Chelsea we won."

Richarlison for sure, Calvert-Lewin I don't think so.

The performance was good, I'm really pleased. We played the game that we had planned.
It was a little bit different from the past, but I think we adapted really well attacking the flank with a lot of efficiency

Mr Ancelotti rightly commenting on the much-maligned Sigurdsson’s contribution. He played a role he’s not suited to and did exactly what our World-renowned manager asked him to do. About time the lad stopped getting grief from Blues IMHO

I don't watch Wolves very often but he comes across as such a match of the day player to me. João Moutinho gets through more work than he does and he's 10 years older than him.

What's interesting is that that midfield three (Dendoncker, Moutinho, Neves) are all slower than death on paper, yet they're still one of the most dynamic PL teams on the counter.

On Neves, he strikes me as a MOTD player like Kevin Mirallas that fans of other teams revere, but in reality doesn't put in enough 7/10 performances to justify the hype. As someone mentioned above, Moutinho has been head and shoulders above him when it comes to ball progression and creativity (if only Moyesy had gotten him over the line back in the day) - really superb addition to their squad.
 
Am I missing something? Arent we a game below the clowns at the top of the league due to our Man City cancel? BBC have us as all the same games.

I thought he was class today in a unfamiliar position. Put in a proper shift. Very unselfish in making runs off the ball creating space and linked play well
 
This is great.
For so long we weren't winning these games. Another everton draw written all over it.
10-2-5 and wins against the sky six.

Really enjoying the competition amongst the 4 CBs. Mina shining last win, Keggers today, with two of the most promising CB literally waiting in the wings.
Then you got Gomes, behind Doucs and Davies, actually coming on and showing some fight, breaking up play and bags an assist, and could of had two with Richarlison late on.

The football isn't great yet but somehow perhaps Carlo's lads have found something greater

Big win this. Beat Villa and reckon I'll start dreaming of Europe.
Get some competition in the other areas and reckon it'll be more than just about making it to Europe.
