Without trying to deflect blame from Benitez as again there's some questionable decisions, for me the XI on the pitch have to shoulder most of the blame.

He made changes late on the in the first half, which made us look more secure and resilient, but by then it was too late as they'd fell apart.

Where was their personal pride? We've got to look at Benitez too, but my point is that the team we started with shouldn't be that dismal.

I think expecting players to desire their way through it when they are put in a situation to fail is misguided at this level.

They battered us first half and there wasn't much between us and them in the second half (we probably just edged it) so on that they did deserve to win it.

I've gone Richarlison, cos he grafted all night, and hardly got a sniff. No sulking or owt though, just hard work. And I refuse to give it Delph, even if he did play well, cos one decent half of football in his time here is never gonna cut it for me.
