I think Fulham will finish above Wolves but they're still going to beat us today.

Too soon for our good players to actually play and we'll have too many wasters in the XI.

This too much in their favour and too little in ours:

Late Saturday kick off
Home crowd
First game back in the PL
Keane, Jags and Schnerderlin in the spine of the side for us

We certainly looked good going forward last week. The realistic folk among us as I'm sure you'll agree will wait and see what the team is like once the new defenders are properly bedded in, so perhaps a poor defensive display today is not something to get too het up about?
IMO, this manager gets pretty much a free one year pass unless its utterly dire.

The defence is going to take some time to get right. When you look at it we have Coleman (not a great defender of the ball or positionally great, imo), a new LB who'll need a lot of time to bed in; two new CBs (one of whom is a loan and I'm always dubious about loaned players - especially when there's no buy option), a player like Keane who is shockingly poor character-wise for the dominant person he should be in that position, Holgate who doesn't strike me as a specialist CB, and Jagielka...who's many faults need no elaboration.

It's still potentially a shambles.

Think you're forgetting the pressure that's on them, theyre fully expecting to take 3 points today. It's their first game back in the league and they have a lot of new signings also, I think we could be pleasantly surprised today

Come on, this is Wolverhampton Wanderers! Not Real Madrid. They have done well in recruitment this summer but it takes teams time to gel. Some on here have already written us off!

I have them down as slight favourites due to home advantage but like most premier league games, if you get the first goal anything can happen!

Coyb!

BE PATIENT today, no heart attacks or meltdowns, this is the first step of long road, Rome wasn't built in a day and FC Sexy won't come together straight away, let's try and look for some positives (hopefully there might be one or two).
Today's team is only likely to be our league cup side.
Stay positive :)

So is richarlison the only definite starter of our new signings ? I guess the 4 deadline day buys are all out of question, what about digne ?

Expecting a Wolves win here, hate playing newly promoted teams, remember only too well us losing to QPR, and drawing with Norwich and some other gash team at home a season or two ago. It’s their cup final, and we’ve got the triumvirate of turd in the centre of the park.

I’d be very pleased with a draw today.

Will feel much better when the new signings come in in defence.

Everton to smash these half way back down the M6 ;)

edit: it's away innit - make that up the M6 then... lol

Very happy with our squad. But today will be a test, especially with Jagielka and Keane at the back. Imperative that we get through this one and hit the ground running to ease the burden on the new boys.
