Not looked yet but i wouldn't be surprised if BT Sport have a kopite on the live pundit/commentary team too as they often do. There isn't one of these main stream sports broadcasters that show any respect to Everton.

I haven’t watched the clip but is anyone really surprised? Everyone loved us when we were plucky little Everton punching above our weight but right now we are in a league of our own in the premier league, we’re better than the rest but not as good as the top 6... that makes us boring because we probably won’t overachieve or underachieve and therefore won’t give any talking points.

Also in the last couple of years we’ve started bullying the smaller clubs because we’re better than them. Look at Koeman, Silva, Sigurdson, Richarlison etc. The smaller clubs didn’t want to lose these assets and we just threw money at it until they were ours...

Remember, Man City were definitely not media darlings until they won the league and played sexy football and our last recorded performances were under Allardyce so we’ve not come very close to doing either recently...

When you're on the same side of defence as the oaf Michael Keane, it's not ideal to have a communication issue because of a language barrier and/or not playing with eachother properly yet.

You can accommodate new attacking players easier than defenders in my opinion - I think Baines should start this one and Digne to be eased in over the next few weeks.

Indeed, I think us as fans have to have a bit of perspective over the next few weeks - expect a few bad results as we basically bed in an entirely new side.

...with the exception of the Reds, I generally watch teams at the top (United, City, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal) hoping they beat teams below them. It’s because I see competition for us from teams outside the top third.

I want to enjoy watching Everton again. It’s been a long time since that was the case, and i’ll know we’ve progressed when I watch Huddersfield and want them to beat Chelsea. Chelsea just scored by the way.
