Nervous with that defence. Wolves have a big lad up top who I'd fancy to give Jagielka/Keane problems.

Praying we can keep it tight and get an early goal to give us confidence.

I like to see old school methods respected, IE, incoming players waiting their turn....

However, Keane is so bad & Jags so shot, I’d have thrown at least one of Mina/Zouma in.

Digne’s been here over a week. I just don’t understand why Baines has been preferred???

Prove me wrong Marco!

COYB!!!!!!

I for one am filled with excitement for this season. First time excited about Everton in a long while.

Don’t think anyone is ready for the sort of attacking football we’re about to dish out. We’re about to wow and Richarlison is about to prove quite a few doubters wrong.

This game could easily go either way. The good thing is several of the players starting today have better and more able players ready to take their place over the next few weeks.

Yeah they don't do that. Ever.

The likes of Jagielka are the poster children for "having a job and happy to coast on a wage". They don't know how to rise to an occasion or lead by example.

That's why signing the likes of Sigurdsson, Williams, Bolasie - e.g. footballers happy to take the highest wage available for one last big payoff in the twilight of their careers - was a stupid, stupid thing to do, whilst signing the likes of Richarlison, Mina and Digne - quality players with a point to prove and aiming for bigger and better things - isn't a stupid, stupid thing to do.

For sure, but if Keane could show something or Schniederlin... they are the ones who can turn their careers around here. Bernard will be pressure for Siggurdsson too.

Proper worried about the defensive part of this side today. Kind of expected it though, the new signings were never going to be ready.

At least we've got them signed already rather than signing them after 3 games, mind.

I never argued it WAS a positive statement I argued it wasn't a negative post about Coleman...for reasons since elaborated on.

I think you're a bit hard of learning mate.
Hahahaha, thats too Davek.

So, it wasnt positive, it wasnt negative, it was an entirely neutral statement?
"It wasnt a negative post about Coleman", yet you said "When you look at it we have Coleman (not a great defender of the ball or positionally great, imo), " The ONLY words you spoke about Coleman, every single one is negative. Regardless of whether you think he has positives, every word in that post about him was negative, so as usual you havent even bothered to pay attention to your own words.

You're in peak form!

Apart from Richarlison, he's gone for 'tried and tested' as against blooding players who haven't trained together and with no experience of the pace and physicality of the game in the UK

This team (with Richarlison as a massive upgrade on Bolasie) picked up plenty of points towards the end of last season. Why is anyone scared of Wolves?
