Team I was expecting but thought Digne would have played. Lookman not on the bench is very odd
Probably not that odd he's probably been kicking off about that move, or if he's not he probably has been so he may be being disciplined in house. We should just deny him any move and make him work for a place here. When players like Lookman are trying the player power thing, things are getting bad, I'm not saying that's what it is but it could be. Also why does he really want to leave for a lesser league.

Yeah they don't do that. Ever.

The likes of Jagielka are the poster children for "having a job and happy to coast on a wage". They don't know how to rise to an occasion or lead by example.

That's why signing the likes of Sigurdsson, Williams, Bolasie - e.g. footballers happy to take the highest wage available for one last big payoff in the twilight of their careers - was a stupid, stupid thing to do, whilst signing the likes of Richarlison, Mina and Digne - quality players with a point to prove and aiming for bigger and better things - isn't a stupid, stupid thing to do.

I'd hardly say Siggy was in the twilight of his career, he's coming up to his peak years. Bolasie is relatively young and has had a serious injury, which happened after he got his contract, and Wlilliams was always a stopgap, despite the fact that when we signed him he was still captain of WAles, with a very good reputation. Jagielka has been an excellent servant to Everton, and has represented the club for many years as captain. He will know more than anyone that his time is up and he will have no regrets. He certainly doesn't deserve the vicious ,negative comments about him from certain posters on here.
I'm very surprised to read that sort of stuff from you Tubey, its almost as if you're attempting to be controversial, because there is no substance in your argument.Rest assured, if Jags is called upon today, despite his failing physicality, he will do his best for Everton.

The problem Steve, is that a growing number of fans think his best just isn't good enough any longer.
