Women's World Cup 2023.

Women’s football is absolutely fine.

But it’s spoiled by the goalkeepers. Not sure if it’s quality, height or whatever.

Great corner, but goalkeeper suspect again. Not been a bad World Cup, enjoyed it.

I'd say mostly height. Both keepers in Canada-Ireland are 5'9" and they're defending the same size net as the men do.
I have been thinking about this and I think this is right. There are/were a few that could overcome the height deficit, but they are few and far between. Overall though, I enjoy the women's game.

Not sure the answer is to lower the crossbar height as some of the shooting on offer has been abysmal also, it is very decent footy to watch though, I'm really enjoying it.

There's a refreshing lack of gamesmanship and cheating, I think that's what I've liked the most, the girls just get on with it most of the time.
There is also quite a bit of skill on show too. Brazil the other day were brilliant to watch, especially the build up to that 3rd goal.

I understand that those who watch 99% EPL may not be impressed, but for those of us in other countries that regularly watch "farmers leagues", the skill level is not too far off

Dutch played about 7000 pointless passes in that half but one of like 3 attacks included a clearance falling straight to them and the shot going in from not that great a position so now everyone will pretend they were awesome. The US is fine here.

It also changes the math on coming out to claim a corner or punching away a cross. I think errors in those decisions are more common. And it's a little harder to rush out of the box and cut down the angle at a shorter height.

They definitely need to shorten the pitch and make the goals smaller.

They genuinely lack the explosive pace and strength of the men's game. And I'm not sure why but the goal keepers seem to be horrendous in every game.

Genuinely can't get my head around guys who go to watch it or promote it. They're either perverts or genuine virtue signaling weirdos.

No there wasn't. Toe poking at a Sunday league level is not fun to watch.

And toy also massively contradicted yourself in your second paragraph.
