Probably about 90% of the playing and coaching staff would be classed as Wools. It used to make me laugh that after travelling for five hours on the coach from an away game and getting dropped off in St Helens, only after the doors had glided shut and the coach was pulling away as a few of us stood at the kerbside, that the remaining passengers then started with the sheep noises. The Quilts.

Everton is the closest Premier League ground to my home. Always has been. Therefore I class myself as local. Though with this cold weather, having more wool is better.
Turf Moor is 4 miles closer to me than Goodison so for this season I'm a wool but as soon as Burnley's relegation is confirmed Goodison will be my nearest Premier League ground again so I'll be back to being a pure bred local scouser.

It doesn't bother me and when I used to go the odd away game I tended to prefer the company of a few lads I know from St Helens rather than the over the top "I'm pyar Scouse everyone else is a wool I'll act like I want" muppets that follow us. Mainly because you were more likely to get served in the ale house before the game.

Wool shouts at Goodison do make me laugh though, in amongst some heavy scouse rage you just hear some random wool "Get on with the bloody game!" hahaha where's he sat the wool "It's him with the hat"
