Inevitably interest will fade sometime, but for me I keep it fresh by using a new first word each day. Then if it gives me any letter I’m trying to work that and any vowels I’ve missed into my 2nd attempt, so it’s always different and challenging.

This is what I do also, as you say you enter into it with more of a challenge.
