Got my mojo back. I was in great form on Friday morning on my way to visiting my mum in her care home, and then again on the London Underground on the way home, until I realised my (new, uninsured) Pixel 8 Pro phone had been lifted from my back pocket on the crowded stairs at Charing Cross.

Currently fighting to understand how to navigate round Mrs TT’s old iPhone 7

Sorry to hear about your phone TT hope Kharma bites the arse of the perpetrator.

I think I was in shock when I realised it wasn’t in my pocket. It was probably when it was actually taken but, at first, I went back to the platform to see if I’d dropped it. When I couldn’t find it I realised what had happened.

I remembered then that it was always quiet when walking between CX underground and mainline railway, yet I heard a man and a woman laughing ahead of me as was walking up the stairs.

I can imagine the thief saying that it was probably insured anyway. It wasn’t, of course, but it’s certainly not good for anything other than WiFi gaming now as the IMEI is blocked. Nothing untoward has happened to any of my accounts anyway.
