Words you've been pronouncing wrong for years...

Must mention that one of the problems of living in a foreign country for a long time is losing touch with new vocabulary.
I've never actually heard the word 'avatar' pronounced for example.
when I arrived in Spain in 1993, I'd only ever seen one mobile phone and it was the size of a house brick (and about as good for communicating from what I could make out). And internet was not a word anyone had ever said or even written (outside military intelligence). So there's loads of new vocabulary connected to telecommunications and IT which I probably pronounce wrong but I don't know.
Oh and there's loads of stuff in Spanish which I still pronounce wrong

felleeni/fellarrni

Its fellayni right?

Drogbarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Drogba will do

Dont be getting into Words Motty has been pronouncing wrong for years, there's not enough bandwidth on the internet to hold the thread.

Seriously, I'm sure he said Mario Fellaini and Victor Anchovie within the space of five seconds this weekend.

When I was younger I used to pronounce Liverpool, the football club, the same as Liverpool the city. Now I know the football club is pronounced Red Shy Eat.

@ Welton Toffee

I always say An-ee-chu-bee

But it tends to vary :D, I used to say An-i-Chay-bay (the I like the i in it)
