According to Talksport English commentators this morning, Maguire should have been in.

I presume for looking like a world beater against Iran, USA, Wales and Senegal without Mane.

I'm making one change and swapping out Giroud for Alvarez.
 
I watched this World Cup and I am very pleased that Messi got his hands on the trophy. However when I hear the pundits talking about the greatest ever players I can’t help but think of George Best, Mbappe scored three, Messi got two but The Belfast Boy would have turned up drunk, scored four, shagged a Miss World at half time and got sent off early in the second half to get back to the bar before the crowd got there.

martinez made big saves, controlled the penalty shoot outs in two matches.
That save in the last minute of extra time won the tournament for them and was world class - you can argue with him earning the golden globes

Best was a man with a serious illness, one that eventually ended his life. Wogan and the BBC took exploited a sick man for viewing figures.
