Coach: Marcelo Bielsa (CHI) - For if anything having the balls to send 7-8 outfield players on the attack down a man against Spain with everything to lose.

He's only evil when he's on the field and playing against you. He's superb as a player and as a human being. Asolutely love it that you admit to rate him as a player. Went to a public triubute to him at his place of birth last night. The man is a legend to me, so down to earth and open to everyone. Talked to his father for a while and he had tears in his eyes, seeing all the people who came to pay tribute to his son.

Would definitely be in my World XI. Love him or hate him, he was just superb for the Dutch.

Edit: May have missed something here, but is there any reason you always call him van Brommel?

I'm sure he is a nice guy, was defo one of the best of tourney and if he was Everton I might like him. I've always been a fan of Steven Hunt who is just as polarizing I guess.

As far as Brommel, Bommel, my posts are 50 percent typos and grammatical errors thats what happens when you smoke too much crack and post.

In case hasn't been posted, FIFA's "official" team of tournament,

There’s only one XI that goes in the history books though, and that’s the FIFA one. The FIFA World Cup All-Star Team was decided by the votes of FIFA.com Club members (that’s folks who’ve signed up at the FIFA website) and the results were announced today. So, as voted for by fans, the World Cup All-Star Team is as follows:

Goalkeeper: Iker Casillas (Spain) Defenders: Philip Lahm (Germany), Carles Puyol (Spain), Maicon (Brazil), Sergio Ramos(Spain)

Midfielders: Wesley Sneijder (Netherlands), Bastian Schweinsteiger (Germany), Andres Iniesta (Spain), Xavi (Spain)

Forwards: Diego Forlan (Uruguay), David Villa (Spain)

That’s six members of the Spain team, and only one player – Brazil’s Maicon

Pretty close to what I was thinking, minus one fullback for a CB. I know Ozil, Mueller, Robben, etc., have cases to be made. But at the end of the day Spain came home w/ the cup, & for me that's the tiebreaker (and then some).
