Ronnie has them all in his pocket at the moment.
His consistency right now in getting to and winning these finals is incredible. At nearly 50, unbelievable. A lot of the others aren't even at the races for whatever reason. Trump's probably the best of the rest right now - but these were supposed to be "his" years. He has one world title. John Higgins is gone. Neil Robertson is probably gone. Mark Selby is in terminal decline (although you wouldn't completely write him off just yet as he might come alive like the vampire he is at his best at the world championship). Mark Allen is hot and cold. Trump should be making hay. I suppose if he wins the world title then he can say he did. It'll be ironic if Ronnie doesn't win it considering his utter dominance of the circuit right now. But that's snooker. The world title, for better of worse, is all that truly matters.

Ronnie’s biggest opponent is himself. If he can keep his demons in check then he should win everything.
10 years ago I had money on the Asian’s dominating snooker for the next few years….. unfortunately… so did most of the Asian players

Final frame decider in the semi final between Slessor and O'Donnell, Slessor was 5-3 down, six wins it. On DMax, Freeview ch. 39. Not a bad match.

Cheater Higgins 3-0 down against Gary Wilson, who had a 147, missed a 147 in the first frame and in the third scored 82. Higgins has scored 4 points, and that was a foul. lol

The standard of this final is truly appalling.
I have seen better club players than the Mod as he is nicknamed- makes Eddie Chaflton & Thorburn lol like very poor Tony Drago - 35 seconds a shot - Ronnie would have had a nervous breakdown v that type of snooker lol

The worst final I've seen, one hundred break in the whole match.
He dragged the life out of the game - he's a bad advert for snooker - the Mod - I played through game as an amateur in a league - if I played a good player my game rose accordingly if I played a boring dull player my game dropped almost to his level -
When Ronnie oacks in snooker will slip for a while until a younger player breaks through to entertain!
