Interestingly, there was a feature earlier this week at the snooker about Higgins, it was his birthday. Stephen Hendry made an interesting point that Higgins only scored 87 centuries in his 23 years playing, of course, there were far fewer tournaments then, but Hendry made the point that he was a great break builder, but never a heavy scorer, and would struggle in today's game. So, where's Alex fall on the rainbow?
Forerunner to Mark Williams, once the frame was won he'd switch off. He'd (Williams) be 30 times world champion if the game was one handed.Interestingly, there was a feature earlier this week at the snooker about Higgins, it was his birthday. His most number of centuries in a season - 11, the only time he made double figures.

That's a good point. Be interesting to find a comparison with other players of his era and their century totals. Won't be me finding out though.Forerunner to Mark Williams, once the frame was won he'd switch off. He'd (Williams) be 30 times world champion if the game was one handed.
