Poulson to the [Poor language removed], interesting one that. Clearly a replacement for Hulk kid.

Ive been coming out of a Greek airport, Thessaloniki, when an Aris player was coming through off the same flight.

I hadn't heard about him but flares all over the show and loads of lids. They love it over there.

That's the team that Freddy Adu and Eddie Johnson were on loan to last season.

Adu was passed over by a Swiss club, Sion. Its looking like back to Benfica for him? Greece's ecomony doesn't exist anymore so Aris is probably out. MLS well he seems to have burned his bridges there. Scandanivia, Scotland next? It seems like those are the only leagues left for him to make it in Europe.

Miguel Veloso - Sporting CP to Genoa - £7m.

Genoa are building a strong side for this season. They've already signed Luca Toni (free), Rafinha (£6m), and Eduardo (£3m), Portugal's World Cup goalkeeper.

Agree, they are doing excellent on the market.
But Veloso valuation at 7m is not entirely true - Alberto Zapater was sent the other way, officially valued at 2m. Both valuations are well under their market value, so we have to assume that Veloso was bought for 5m pounds, plus Zapater (who is also quite a player).

And Mido didn't join Ajax after all.

£7m is the figure I've seen on the internet somewhere, so I just assumed that was the cost.

Could have sworn to have seen an article about the Mido deal being officially completed, seems now that the move is off.
