I remember everyone going ape when the 1891 home shirt was released. I nearly choked on my pipe. We were all over the shop deciding on a home kit colour back then. I had to buy a new scarf almost every season. This tragedy lasted four years! The buttons fell off after one wash. There was no pocket for your tobacco. Plus the collar really chafed. I think you'd all agree that we were happy to see the back of that one!

Even as a kid, I remember people absolutely fewmmmming at the time about the bib kit, and sending letters of complaint to the Echo about it. It was very controversial, on a par with the 13/14 badge.

Salmon pink my backside. This was RED. As my Kopite acquaintances delighted in telling me whilst at school during this time.

Never liked this either. Brings back memories of going to Oldham and getting beat on their plastic pitch, around the time we started our decline.

In this instance there was a slightly different colour on the players shirts. The replicas were a little more red.

For me, the 01/02 3rd kit:

Had to be seen in the flesh to do it justice really. Just pure vomit.

I actually owned this top, purely because I needed a red and a blue option for a 5aside game, it looked worse in real life

the black one with the pink stripes was the sex though, the le coq kits where the best, no templates total originals, umbro kits look like a jarg rip off from a spanish holiday resort

Yeah one2one hated that, there logo was too big and we had some terrible players wearing it!!

Personally, never understood the hatred for that top. I have it, lo e collars on tops and its excellent quality.
