mr jake defendant does not answer please provide evidence and we can rule anyway.
You Honour,

I would request that we wait until the defendant can explain why they called someone the "Purple Wayne Rooney" and how it had nothing to do with race. This is a very confusing statement and since English is their second language we should allow time for a defendant statement.

I want to believe this is a simple mistake in the use of the English Language.

Witness for the defence M'lud.
Can we be sure that Mr Rooney was not being strangled at the time, thus giving him a purple appearance?

mr livermore has until sundown tomorrow to reply right honorable buddy.

You called Akifenwa the "Purple Wayne Rooney". If you don't see why that was wrong I won't be explaining it to you.

What are they teaching the clergy in Malaysia mate?

Apart from attacking the PC snowflakes to protect your free speech.
Hmmm, my bad. That was meant to be humorous and not racist or offensive. Culturally we're really worlds apart it seems. Apologies if it came off as anything other than intended.

What exactly did you mean by it? Why would you call him the Purple Wayne Rooney?

Something lost in translation? I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact he was a black fella.

Does Purple have another connotation(meaning/interpretation) over in Malaysia that isn't a comment on physical appearance?

I just find it a very confusing comment.

Thanks for coming in to explain.

And are your views such as this one supported by your fellow Malaysian men of the cloth?

"Sjw snowflakes" sounds exactly like the type of language you would expect from a Man of God.

Do you call your Black Malaysian mates "Purple" to their faces and have a good laugh about it?

No. I don't think you really do.
We generally allow freedom of thought and opinion clergy or otherwise. I probably qualify as a black malaysian but I did clarify in an earlier post that culturally we seem to be worlds apart. We're multiracial and we tend to laugh at ourselves a bit more than others I suppose. No offense meant mate and I apologize if it seemed that way. Seeing that I was neither cautioned nor banned it didn't strike me that I'd done anything really wrong but yeah, apologies though.

Yeah definitely mate. I'm still not picking up the joke though.

What about this fella says "Purple Wayne Rooney" to you?

I don't see any purple. Was he wearing a purple shirt?

It was a barney, purple people eater thing. But yeah I often find myself explaining myself to my mates back home too because of something I said out loud that was playing in my head. I don't mean any offense.
