When I was 18 I went to open a door that had a 3' nail hanging out- as I opened the door the nail penetrated my arm- it felt like a sting so I pulled my arm back while the nail was still in the flesh. That stung a bit.

I've never really experienced any really bad pain though so maybe i'm missing out. Worst was probably a few weeks ago when i trapped the end of my finger in a window and pulled the top of the nail off. That was more cool then painful though caise it bled everywhere!
