Only if the club responds by signing Che Adams and then puts our their own plane saying "There. We signed one. Happy now? Well, are you happy now?! Did we make you happy?! Did we?!?! DID WE?!?!?!"

Sounds like he has identified decent targets, Kudus, Elbil whatever, but the legendary ACUMEN of dear old, blind Bill just can't get them over the line. Plus Moshiri only cares about the ground now and is in no mood to provide anymore funds for Kenwright and Co to waste. If nothing major happens were done.
….I have my doubts HE has identified any targets. Its gross negligence for a top flight football club to go without an effective central striker for an entire season. It’s worst than gross negligence to go into a 2nd season without an effective central striker & then say ‘it’s difficult signing one’.
Thelwell is nothing. He has to included as part of the gang that have put us in this complete mess.
Not defending Thelwell at all eggs, but who identified the player's aforementioned then ?
Our problems are part getting the player's targeted to actually sign on the dotted line. Partly money and partly those who've who actually do the deals, Kenwright and who pays the piper Moshiri.
…what I know with certainty is Anthony Gordon started last season as our central striker & Demari Gray finished it. 12 months later, we still have the same issue.
We never replaced Lukaku, is that his fault too eggs ? I agree on the striker issue, apart from 1 maybe 2 seasons with DCL coming through we've failed miserably. But is this not due to finances as well as targets walking away to better offers and better clubs ? Big players very rare get through negotiations with Everton when other clubs get interested. Onana one of the exceptions.
…..then you don’t sign ‘big players’. I made this point over the weekend, players with good options are unlikely to choose Everton but its a big world out there & we have to be clever in identifying talent that become ‘big’ players. Nobody is saying it’s easy, but it’s what a DOF does.
Newspapers identified them,we have no proof that EFC ever spoke to the club's concerned. Not defending Thelwell at all eggs, but who identified the player's aforementioned then ?

If the El Bilal saga is to be believedWe never replaced Lukaku, is that his fault too eggs ? I agree on the striker issue, apart from 1 maybe 2 seasons with DCL coming through we've failed miserably. Been cheaper and more effective to just take a hit out on maupay.FFS I'd just slipped the pilot an extra 20 to throw some eggs.
Now it looks like we're getting a Striker.
Everton that.
