Would it get worse without Dyche?

If Dyche left now, would Everton be in deeper poo?

Knowing our luck, it would probably get worse without Dyche Walker.

Just Depressing.

Nailed on. As bad as we have been at times, people fail to appreciate Dyche is holding things together relatively well under the circumstances. The gamble involved in punting him would be insane.

Just look at how well the club has been run over the last few years, you’d be mental to trust them bringing in a competent replacement.

Only Lampard and Benitez are worse managers.

And even they might have a better record soon.

Its not possible we could ever appoint a worse manager.

Every single one of those managers stepped into a club in better nick than it was when he arrived.

He’s not great, the football is awful at times, but he’s keeping us above water despite having a poor squad, eight points deducted, and the club falling apart at the seams.

You wanna know the scary thing.

This might be the best team we have for a while.

It would all depend on who replaces him. I think hes done alright, but need to change something currently.

Yes.

I think it can get better than Dyche and eventually will but it's a high risk strategy because to get better we have to play in a style which will be the complete reverse of what Dyche has made us good at. I wouldn't really replace Dyche until we are far more stable than we are or if we get relegated and don't look like we are going to bounce back.

I know its a boring old argument, but without the points deduction we'd be more conforatbale in the league than we have been since Ancelotti left, still have the same bog average squad and bemoaning having to sell players like Iwobi and Demari Grey just to stay afloat

I don’t get the calls to sack Dyche in the event that we go down, as it will most definitely be the points deduction that would have caused our relegation, and more importantly, Dyche would be the number 1 candidate to get us out of the championship imo.

Dyche in the PL however is a different kettle of fish. We might need better just to survive our circumstances this season, and we will definitely need better looking forward. Dyche is not the man to see Everton progress in the PL, and his recent form has been worthy of the sack.

Dyche is a polarising figure. I think Chris' poll from last weekend showed a significant 'sack' vote.

It's all grim, the football is crap, the squad are crap etc. Some argue he could and should get more out of the squad and at least have a go more often. Others in the Dyche thread are more accepting, sone arguing he's done well in the circumstances.

So, fellow Blues, do you think we'd be in trouble or a worse situation going forward if Dyche left now?
Seriously?

I'd give him the opportunity to get us out of the Champ but I would reassess where we were at in Jan regarding that opportunity.

Fair enough, as of now there has been 3 worse managers.

Lets really hope he doesnt overtake them.

I dont think Koeman and Big Sam were good for us, but both did vastly better than Dyche, currently.
Mike Walker will always be the worst manager we have had. Saying Koeman did better than Dyche is like saying Southgate is a better manager than Bobby Robson because he got England to a final.
