Yes. Football has always been the same. Pep, Klopp, many successful managers simply reintroduce old tactics. Gegenpressing was popular in England in the 80's but everyone seems to think Klopp was the mastermind behind it. He

Rafael's had success and I think still capable of it. He's played some ultra defensive football, I think out of necessity at places like Newcastle. Has had success in number places, including the premier league.

But I could be wrong again, or the naysayers could be wrong again.

He’s been a nothing manager for years. This isn’t like Ancelotti or Conte who can attract big players this is a washed up fat boy who’s been dossing in China after walking away from Newcastle and being outperformed by Steve Bruce!
If we’re going for a manager who plays boring football I’d have preferred Nuno, at least he outperformed expectations until last season!
