Imagine if we did fight for our country though... we would be heroes and should be first in the line for jobs, housing and we should get more benefits and we'd be allowed to murder people and get away with it.... the list is endless. ... who wouldn't want to fight for all of the above

Once, yes. Absolutely. Fervently.

The older I get the more disillusioned I become with our nations values. I am disappointed with how our public lap up, unquestioningly, the "information" presented to them by a bunch of media billionaires and the establishment. People no longer stand together to support the weak or the poor and seem to worship only individual success. That's no society

So no. Not now. We're a nation just not worth fighting for.

Plus my knees aren't what they used to be.

Pretty much sums up my feelings.

I'd like to contribute my skills, should it come to that. Killing people directly? Not for me

Say for example WW3 was to break out and you were conscripted by your nation.

I'm British, but by today's standards of what it is to be British, absolutely not, as I don't feel like I belong here anymore.
A Passport.

No. I don't really get patriotism and all that. You are born where you are born, it's not like you have a choice.

Besides, I'm a lover not a fighter.
