I'd say he'll sack Everton off if he gets an offer from a CL club. He was quite open about wanting to play CL next season. If we had finished 4th I think it would have been nailed on for him to come to us. As it stands, I can't see it.

He's not yet reached his potential so that should be his number one priority. I'm hoping that rom can see what I can see, that for his personal development it's best that he stays with us. I reckon to get to the next level he's needs the continuity we offer. The way his career has progressed so far us being in the Europa league represents the next logical step up for him and us. I personally believe that if (as is reported he wants) he joins a team already in the champions league, (probably involves a move abroad adaptation period etc) he'll be found wanting. But if he helps us/himself to improve to that level he's more likely to fulfil his potential.

Of course there are a lot of different factors involved in whether we can sign him but purely from a footballing standpoint I believe that we represent his best option.
