Rumours that Newcastle will match our offer. I remember mars bar saying they would be interested if he was available.
it's a bit like a reverse Shearer when we 'matched' their bid in the 90's. I bet he would jump at the chance to join a mid table comedy outfit with a manager who enjoys a headbutt.

None of the teams linked so far worry me that he would go elsewhere. I am quite relaxed about it. He had a solid season last year and hopefully he wants to continue. If not we move on. I believe he will come back, but then nowhere is better than Everton imo.

Not that this has much relevance but: there's an ocean club in Marbella but lineker doesn't have, own or have anything to do with that. Linker set up a 'beach ocean club' in Ibiza which is a rip off of the Marbella one. Saying that, the Ibiza one is far better; full of clunge.

I'm actually happy about them offering too if true. No chance in hell he would go there and makes us look like a great place to go in comparison. Newcastle FFS? I mean honestly. Can we get some more mars bars over this one too? If he picks Newcastle for an extra 10k a week or whatever I quit on football.
