Would you sign Welbeck? (rumoured to be wanting out of OT)

One question really. If welbeck played for West Bromwich and not United would he even get attention?

probably not. but there's a reason for that. man united are suppose to be too good to have players the quality of welbeck etc. no offence to WBA like, but they are near the bottom of the table. united spend 20 and 30 odd million on players.

Welbeck Is a striker that doesn't score goals. The best definition of him. Therefore how can you put him alongside defoe sturridge bent to name a few who are quick strikers that have scored goals in the league?

I just think the fact he plays for United make people think he is better than what he actually is. There is no need for a support striker in this league now, wither you put the ball in the back of the net at least 10 times a sea on or you aren't good enough to play in it.

strikers who don't score goals are usually target men - he's not a target man. shows you all you need to know about how poor he is.

however, he's done pretty well in the big games i've seen him in this season, just like joining in with the jarg shouts. he can't finish for toffee though.

Better minutes per goal record than Lukaku this season. Much better touch than the big man as well and hasn't been playing as the main striker. Like someone above mentioned, a Sturridge-like revival under the right manager might be a possibility. If Bobby fancies him, I'm in.

Welbeck - League Apps: 13(9), Goals: 9, 143 mins per goal.
Lukaku - League Apps: 26(2), Goals 13, 176 mins per goal.
