The Moyes of today is not the Moyes of 10yrs ago...and he wasn't all that good, he was barely just good for then...and only in fits and starts.
Due to poor starts, how many times did he have us in the bottom third in Oct.

In the context of where we were when he took over, he did a decent job. In general, his team's did marginally better than you might have expected from the players at his disposal, but his days are over.

People wanting him back, probably still also hanker over that fit 18 year old redhead they fingered decades ago, but she's likely aged to something barely recognisable now.

moyes would be better than the last 3 clowns.

that being said low bar is low. Also his players loved him (this lot just loves their paycheck), the transfer market has drastically changed (you aren't plucking promising bench players young players, or championship players for peanuts anymore) and unless Kean gets good fast we're in that oh look we have to have no striker issue that moyes always had here. I can't see any say 5th place finish under him.

David Moyes would deliver for this club & bring back some much needed belief...

He loves this club & would bring back the passion & success we all want from our team....

He has a no nonsense 100% commitment & passion for this club I have not seen from a manager at Everton since Joe Royle....

Plucky Everton n stuff Na, he’s past it now not for us

Needs to be joined in the long grass by Blue Bill. We went back with Howard who actually won something and how did that end.

Yes let’s bring back the loser who won nothing for us and his loser mentality that still haunts the club today, until Coleman and Bains are gone we never get rid of the serious knife to a gun fight.

Stop looking back. Moyes did an okay job in difficulty circumstances but other then 1 4th finished he did no better than any manager that’s followed him

No Nonsense 100% commitment ? Then spoke to Fergie privately and walked out when he could have at least got us compensation. It is unthinkable for me not to support Everton but him again would really test my resolve .A charlatan of a manager who has done nothing ,nothing .Can't believe how anyone in their right mind would want a manager who has done nothing and then got worse ,thrown on the dole and then want to throw him a lifeline it beggars belief.
