Only cos people are calling for him to come back, that's why we are concentrating on his failures.
Glass half empty approach. He had some positives also, we had the best left back left wing combo going for years (Baines and pienaar) signed the likes of jagieka, distin and Coleman, players who all put in a shift regardless, yes he signed some bad players like Koldrup but he was working on a shoe string budget, I would take us pushing the top 6 most seasons now wouldn’t you? Other players he signed from nowhere was the likes of Arteta, Cahill, Carsley et al... a team that had fight and passion, instilled by the manager.

Moyes is a man manager! He can get players fired up and believing in themselves. He made Arnautovic into a striker and got him performing. Silva seems incapable of motivating our players and no inspiration from the touchline. At least Moyes would publicly berate the players if he felt the need and you knew when he wasnt happy. Silva just spouts the same crap after every game like Bobby used to and it gets very boring!!

Of course he had his positives but since leaving Everton he hasn't shown much of those 'positive' traits has he?. Footballs moved on and there is a reason why he hasn't gone straight back into management after the WH job.

It's all about opinions mate, he would never get the nod now anyway so my point is dead in the water...but for all the other choices that we could get....just as much of a risk as he would be.

I don't agree with that. Well kind of. Anyone is a risk by the vert nature of the job. Moyes would get less of a good will period though if things did not change straight away due to his leaving and actions afterwards and the fans knowing his limitations.

Those who forgave him (or didn't hold a grudge either) for leaving would soon change their town after a bad run of games. Same thing happened with Allardyce, it didn't matter what he did his cards were marked from the very beginning.
