Would you welcome Rooney back to Goodison?

Anyone who was sat in the Gwladys a few years back after RVN scored should never want him back.

He ran, alone... right infront of the Gwladys, to the right (while the rest of Man Utd players were celebrating to the left of the goal) and went absolutely crazy, kissing the badge, spitting while shouting that loud and jumping and punching the air.

He was giving it some to the Gwladys Street today.

He let his side down today, in fact it looked like the game was to big for him, his all round play was poor considering how good his form has been of late!

Great to see though, i dont think we will ever see him in an Everton shirt again! Which im fairly happy about, hes not the player i thought he would become.

Definitely not. I thought he would go on to be one of the worlds best. No doubting he is a very good player, but there would be no argument to suggest he even competes with the worlds best.

Yup me too, just proved today what a bad snide he is he put himself beyond his team all for the sake of a wind up, his hearts not big enough to play for Everton.
I think any one at the game today would not want that despicable [Poor language removed] in our shirt again,in fact I think he should be charged with incitement his antics after the goal and later kissing his badge proves he might have skill but is woeful when it comes to class,to call him low life would be an insult to low life people .I wonder what he thinks his old mates from school ect think of him:@

To be fair Coyney, his antics today were nothing compared to what he has done in the past.

Fans forget quickly, as early posts in this thread shows.

Talk of burning all bridges. Didn't want him back at Everton anyway, and feel even stronger about that after today. He hasn't become the player we all thought he would become, and with his peanut sized brain he keeps making a fool of himself. After today, I think it's safe to say he won't pull an everton jersey on, ever again.(n)

I hope so.

I can picture it now, the headlines reading in 2018 "Rooney dreams of Goodison return..."

I'm sure the abuse would be reduced if he showed an ounce of respect towards the club who made him what he is.

And i'm sure the respect would come once the abuse was reduced.

Well ok knowing rooney maybe it would maybe it wouldn't but both parties are at fault in this.

While the fans shout abuse at him why would he show them respect? By the same toek why would the fans stop the abuse while he continues to be such an arse.

Like i said, i think its all just a bit pathetic and childish from both sides.

:lol::lol::lol:

Behave yourself. Thats the most deluded post I have ever seen on here death.

Everton fans should show Rooney respect? I have heard it all now. Respect is earned. He lost all respect the day he slandered the club and put in a transfer request at first opportunity at the worst possible time for Everton.

I didn't say they should show rooney respect at all.

By all means if they want to shout abuse at him at every game its up to them. But to then get all righteous when he then responds to it is pathetic.

Rooney is an arse, acted like an arse when he left and continues to act like one when he returns im not denying that.

But there is no chance in hell of him stopping his actions and maybe thinking about trying to rebuild bridges with the club after the stupid mistakes he made while he continues to face such a barrage of abuse at every game.

Its a 2 way street and one which both parties dont seem like they are gonna be the first to back down on.

If you wanna keep shouting abuse at him then fine go ahead, but don't complain when he kisses the badge to get back at you.

Whether he started it or not is besides the point at this stage.
