I did,you have to ask yourself if he was acting as a DPP should. Can you honestly believe a case with such far reaching ramifications wouldn't be discussed in the office and the fact that no witnesses would give evidence wouldn't ring a few bells at least,plus Starmer would really have had no idea it existed. If you believe that to be the case fine.

Yup, cases with very little evidence (when the decision was made) are dropped all the time. They aren’t all sent to the head of a National judiciary service to be reviewed.
He rightfully launched an enquiry into his own Depts when more evidence came to light, to see if anything more could have been done with the evidence it had at the time.

The fact that he wasn't aware of such a potentially high profile case he was at the very least asleep at the wheel at worse, we'll probably never find out. After days as PM he's already carrying on with the Labour party election strategy of giving vague answers to every question,seems to be his forte.
