ask Bret hart what he thinks of the WWE and Vincent Kennedy Mc Ripoff. Boxers fight three or four times a year at most these guys go at it, fixed or not, three or four times a week, so thats why they suffer burn out and mood swings.
 

Apparently, according to a police news conference they said his wifes hands and feet were bound and that a bible was placed beside all three bodies, Benoit was hung by a chord from his weight bench.

His wife had been one of the in-ring bimbos but had recently been working as a wrestling booker. Something very very tragic has happened although we may never know exactly what that said I can think of no excuse to murder ones child expect that he was derranged at the time...............may God have mercy on their souls

WWE's Shopzone web site has pulled all Chris Benoit merchandise. Searches for Benoit's name on the web site's search engine all return the result "discontinued."

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon will apologize for the three-hour USA Network tribute to pro wrestler Chris Benoit that aired Monday night, sources said.

The WWE and USA Network have received complaints about the tribute, which was hastily produced after Mr. Benoit, his wife and their son were found dead in their Georgia home Monday afternoon.

Authorities said Tuesday that Mr. Benoit strangled his wife and suffocated his son, then took his own life. But WWE and network officials were unaware of the circumstances of Mr. Benoit's death when the tribute was assembled, sources said.

The WWE canceled its regularly scheduled Monday Night RAW event on USA Network Monday night and aired the tribute in its place.

Mr. McMahon will address wrestling fans tonight on Sci Fi Channel's live Extreme Championship Wrestling event. He also plans to address speculation that Mr. Benoit's actions were the result of steroid use.

The WWE plans to resume its regular wrestling telecasts, which air on USA Network, Sci Fi Channel and the CW.

In an interview with ESPN.com, Fayetteville, Georgia District Attorney Scott Ballard revealed new information on two text messages that Chris Benoit sent to Chavo Guerrero over the weekend. In the first message, Benoit told Guerrero that Nancy and Daniel Benoit were both sick. It is believed that Benoit sent this message after he had already killed both Nancy and Daniel. In the second message, Benoit told Guerrero that the gates to his house were open and that dogs were outside. It is believed that he sent the second message as a way of making sure the bodies were all found after his suicide.

Even more shocking is that Benoit's son, Daniel, was apparently found with needle marks in his arm. According to Ballard, the boy was being given Human Growth Hormones because the family thought he was undersized.

The article also states that Benoit used weights and the pulley of a piece of exercise equipment to hang himself.

WWE just issued the following statement regarding their decision to cancel their July tour of Canada: Out of respect for the surviving members of the Benoit family and the city of Edmonton, World Wrestling Entertainment? has postponed its Canadian tour scheduled from July 14-17. These dates include shows scheduled at the Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon, the Brandt Centre in Regina, the Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary and the Rexall Place in Edmonton. Please check WWE.com and WWE programming in the near future for further information on the rescheduled events.

ToysRUs.com has pulled all Chris Benoit action figures from their website.

WWE.com has pulled the "I Did It" Mr. McMahon shirt from their website.

TNAwrestling.com has pulled the note of condolence about Chris Benoit that they had put up on Monday

This is the stuff of nightmares Dylan, the guy must have been so far off base he sounds like Nicholson in the Shining. That said I'm not surprised to see McMahon trying to distance himself from this terrible event. Kurt Angle cheated his way out of a WWE contract because he was not prepared to take any more pain killers due to being forced to wrestle three to four times a week. He is now with TNA in Florida performing for a lot less money but, per his quote 'he's getting his sanity back'. I'm not surprised that the Edmonton tour has been cancelled because the WWE are still held responsible for the death of local hero Owen Hart, the demise from wrestling of his brother Bret Hart and now I have no doubt they'll be blamed to a degree for what happened to Benoit who was another local lad..

WWE was rumoured to be in crisis, this tragedy may hurt it far more than anyone realises especially as they were running the pathetic 'Vince has been murdered' story line which so many kids believed and were encouraged to believe by the WWE. They claim to have a 'Wellness scheme' to look out for drugs in wrestlers, this guy was so aware of the dangers of steroids etc that he pumped them into his own child.................

For once I will tune into RAW, due to broadcast on Sky tomorrow night, what will they show?
