sorry i havent played fifa for a while.

ive been up to my eyeballs playing cod5.

single player is ok (not as good as 4) and the zombie nazi bonus level is ace.(id buy it as a stand alone game)

after giving it a good kicking over the weekend im slowly falling in love with it.

if anything its pretty much cod4 , with old guns , but the maps are a bit more advanced imo.dont let cod3 put you off , i think they have learned there lesson before making this game.

Connection issues?

All the glitches on 10 v 10, the game gets paused 4-5 times in a 10 minute match, I know the capt.s make changes and stuff but you spend more time watching the timer count down than you do playing the game

This is annoying, also waiting for a 10v10 match to go I really can't be assed waited 5 minutes to play a match that I'll spend 5 minutes playing.

Ahh, the update for the game. I thought you were talking about the fall update that comes out on Wednesday, the 19th.

the most annoying thing on 10 v 10 imo is when you choose a position (eg lb) and then if you get sent off it lets you play as a multi position player (ie you can change to any player on the pitch ).

when it does this you could be running towards the ball to make a tackle and it will change player on its own , then you find it hard to concentrate on which a player you are.
if theres more than 1 player on 'multi player ' it gets even harder. im constantly bashing the change player button trying to get the player i need. chaos !

The simple solution to this is not to get sent off.

I think I've been sent off once ever in a 10v10 match and I love playing the defensive positions.

Yeah mate, keeps saying when you put Fifa in theres a new update coming, The actual xbox experience comes out @ 10 tomorrow morning, which should also be interesting

If I'm Capt. I always ask people to pick a pos. and tell them if more than 1 picks any I'm gonna have to boot someone. Just doesn't work with more than 1 any.

But if you get a good player on any you've a good chance of winning as long as your forwards don't get caught offside every single time you attack, sometimes by miles, now thats annoying, I usually play in midfield and am good at through balls and quick passing

I'm either Fullbacks or Wide Midfielders. I love a good sliding tackle more then I love scoring on Fifa. Especially when the ball goes out for a throw in and you've cleaned out Ronaldo or whoever, it's boss.

I can't slide tackle on this game to save my life. But on manager mode, I have boss DM's who are superb at standing tackles (Frings and uhmm, *cough* Hargreaves). That and Yobo isn't a slouch at that either.

Seems anytime I attempt a sliding tackle, the guy either checks and I misscompletely or I destroy the guy, not even coming close to the ball and get booked/sent off.

Anyhoo, I couldn't score on this game either, but I seemed to have fixed that, so maybe the slide tackling will come next. Then maybe start using those special moves these players can allegedly do.

I think I've found my position now, Played on 10 v 10 3 times all the times I played I was a center back and I got man of the match eachtime, class.
