DF: Onyewu, Bocanegra, Bornstein, Cherundolo, DeMerit, Goodson, Marshall, Pearce, Spector

MF: Donovan, Dempsey, Bradley, Holden, Clark, Edu, Feilhaber, Torres, Bedoya, Beasley, Kljestan, Rogers

FWD: Altidore, Buddle, Ching, Findley, Herculez Gomez, Eddie J.

Not happy at all about Davies being left out.. but who am I..

We couldve at least brought Davies in case we made it far enough in the tournament for him to play. It would have been the story of the World cup if he had gotten back in time.

Donovan--Bradley--Clark--Holden
Dempsey--------
--------Altidore​

Demsey seemed better up front in the Confederations Cup so that's why he's there and Holden is good enough to start imo. Clark is too prone to getting red cards so maybe I'd have Edu or Feilhaber in instead of him. Does Cherundolo play left back?

Dolo plays on the right, what could happen is Boca moves to left back and DeMerit starts, or John Bornstein starts at LB.. Edu will start over Clark IMO..

my sweep team will struggle to adhere in the first game and, world footballing superstar and all round good egg 'L.D. will be kept in check by mr B.

they will find their feet after that though as I get behind them, and post songs on the Team USA website

Nordecke here has basically answered your question. He never got played enough, but when he did he gave it his all.

But being realistic he plays for a lower league club so his place in the US squad was always going to be doubtful, but it would be nice to see a Leeds player from the past few years in the WC.

Grella is a solid player.. Hopefully he sticks with Leeds and works hard for them.. I have a soft spot for Leeds..
Not sure Grella is Premier quality in the Event Leeds climbs back into the prem. (Atleast not yet)
But considering the US's options up top, Grella, if playing could be called up..
