Grella is a solid player.. Hopefully he sticks with Leeds and works hard for them.. I have a soft spot for Leeds..
Not sure Grella is Premier quality in the Event Leeds climbs back into the prem. (Atleast not yet)
But considering the US's options up top, Grella, if playing could be called up..

Grayson's preferred starting line up had Beckford and Becchio up front, which is understandable. But hopefully with Beckford gone we'll see more of Grella as he is a really underrated player and has a lot of potential.

Exclusive of Davies, this is the best side the US can field. Sadly, it won't even be close to enough. Altidore up front is a weak option but we don't have much else. The defense is mostly solid international players and I am a big fan of Dempsey - he's had a very good year at Fulham and will hopefully keep impressing at the WC. Nothing to say about Donovan - he showed what he can do during his loan stint. Bradley is serviceable and Howard is boss.

As a team, not that impressive and would not be surprised if the US drops the game to Algeria when it needs a win to advance.

Kind of gloomy take but it is what it is.

Beat Ingerland and I'm satisfied.
