If he was that highly rated they would have played him. Swapping major players for reserves. Making the squad worse season by season.
The lad was having a breakout season starting for Feyenoord on loan. Scored 10 goals…

Roma have added Newcastle forward Yankuba Minteh to the long list of names the club are monitoring ahead of the summer.

The Giallorossi continue their search for fresh reinforcements for Daniele De Rossi’s team.

In particular, the capital club want to rejuvenate their attack and bring in a striker with potential and who would fit Roma’s new long-term project aimed at financial sustainability.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Roma are interested in Yankuba Minteh owned by Newcastle.

The 20-year-old Gambian winger played last season in the Eredivise, on loan at Feyenoord.

His price tag is around €30 million.

Going to Roma im afraid.
Ok then, welcome home Romelu.

My only concern with this lad is that Liverpool aren't in for him-or are they? Based off nothing other than the fact Gerrard wanted to nothing to do with Patterson despite Villa needing a right back

Please make this post make sense for my tiny brain.
Generally speaking if a manager moves clubs, he will try to bring a couple of the ones he rates from his previous club with him.

Arne Slot will have seen a lot of this lad and Salah isn't getting any younger

Well this could potentially divide fans..if roma buy him under our noses then we will be seen as the feeder club. If we buy him with roma interested, roma fans gonna believe friedkin looking at us as the prize club. If either club buys him and loans to the other club whats that gonna indicate? A lot will be read into this transfer if it happens, for either team.
