Hmm he was seen in a picture or two yesterday. Today it does look like he's absent from pictures. Probably injured after the first 20 minutes of practice yesterday

Four assists and a goal before xmas and could've had quite a few more (barkley missed a couple of sitters on his own). It's a myth that he was useless before the injury. He looked out of his depth on his return but the hyperbolic damning he gets on this board is mystifying.

I watched plenty of him in person to know he just isn’t good enough. Loses the ball too easy and doesn’t track back, always tries the unnecessary. Be glad if we can get rid.
 
I'm not one to get involved in the negative comments towards players. It's a shame though isn't it. Large transfer fee, clearly a decent lad and tries is hardest, but he's just not been good enough. I'm still astounded by the fee paid for him. Think it's time for him to be moved on.

nope, he was still crap just not as crap

on a serious note, can you remember him having a great game? or even a good game?

Jagielka and DCL aren't in the photos either. They've probably either picked up knocks or need specialised programs away from the group.
