Think Lukaku had a big say in his signing. Lukaku thought Bolasie would be an ideal assister for him.

..just looked it and he signed a 5 year deal in 2016, earning £3.9m per year. So, 2 more seasons after this. Ludicrous.

It was madness at the time given his age/ability and was one of many shocking Koeman/Walsh signings.

We'd be better just paying up his contract in full to get him out rather than letting him stay here for another 2 years. No chance he will be going anywhere permanently after the insane contract we offered him.

Tosun is just as bad.. And we got pay him 100k plus for 4 more years. Scandalous

The injury he had finished him. That’s the truth of the matter.

Yes we massively overpaid for him but he was still able to contribute pre-injury and we’d have been able to sell him on. Post injury he’s not the same player and is pretty useless.

There’s been far worse signings though. He’s just been unlucky.

No mate. He was awful before his injury - he's just worse afterwards.

I hasten to admit we have made worse signings, and he was unlucky with such a bad injury but that doesn't negate the fact that he was absolutely terrible before the injury and absolutely terrible after.
