Shame he’s still here.

assume Boro couldn’t get near his wage demands so it fell through. You’d think if your career had dipped so badly you’d be willing to accept lower wages to prove yourself, especially when Carlo has said he’s not part of the squad going forward.

just going to sit in the stands for at least another few months whilst his career dwindles further - poor

Do you honestly believe a word that comes out of his grid?

He's content to sit on his useless arse for another 8 months. That's it, end of story. His cheerleaders on Twitter are cringe inducing.
I do actually yes. Maybe I'm just gullible and give people the benefit of the doubt but he seems a decent guy.

Never go on twitter so wouldn't know. The only twitter feeds I ever see are those people post on here.

Why? So when you’re 60 and slowing down in your job do you turn round and go, actually I’ve done enough here, have your £70k a year job, I need to do something I can keep up with.

Not singling you out mate, just not the first person I’ve seen mention this.

The fella is 31 which isn’t old, but for a footballer it’s probably his last decent contract he’s getting. Why risk the loan and getting injured, and potentially never playing f again.

Sit on it, and someone will take a punt and who knows he may get some decent dough.

It’s an absolutely horrible stance, and I agree, but you can’t blame him. The lad is a completely different player from when we signed him, that injury well and truly destroyed him.

I’ve said it before, he’d be a handy impact player off the bench. Since he’s here and getting paid he might as well be with the first team rather than u23s

Mate, he couldn't be arsed at Villa, was terrible and asked to come back to sit on his arse.

Since then he's been terrible in farmer leagues for two years.

He's done nothing whatsoever of note for four years. Arguably he's done nothing his entire career. He turned up in two games against Liverpool and basically did nothing else. He's a winger who doesn't score or assist. He's only once managed more than 5 goals in English football a season and that was in League One.

He shouldn't be anywhere near our first team. Or Under 23's as he'd be taking a slot off someone.
