I think people are concerned about his ability as well as the price.

I'd think he was a poor buy for £5m let alone £25m.

He just isn't any good at football, his scoring record is terrible, I can't find an attacking player with a worse goals/minute ratio.

It isn't as though he racks up the assists either.

And for the argument that he makes chances but terrible finishing by others costs him assists - no. They measure this with a stat called key passes and his scores in this area are terrible as well.

However Koeman/Walsh are very respected and see £25m to be a fair price for what he brings to the team. I just don't see it. Obviously I hope he does well, like I hoped Kone* would work out despite thinking he was [Poor language removed].

*Kone has a goal every 366 minutes in his Everton career. Bolasie a goal every 700+ minutes for Palace. Half as prolific as Aruna Kone in an Everton shirt, let that sink in.

Thing is usually you can compare players to top stars in the past...this guy i cant think of anyone...certainly pardew doesnt seem fussed as he commented that the boy doesnt score and the team doesnt score when he plays

Why would he select him then and give him a big price tag? I don't understand that.

Think the crowd will like bolaise, he's a really exciting player to watch
Unsure if koeman will try and get him to cut out the flair and concentrate on the basics though, but he has an impressive array of tricks

all the noises from Pardew that I've ever heard is that he loves Bolasie and that this is more a decision from the board and the player fancies the move.

I don't mind him Zat and I think he could be a very exciting signing for us. Let's give the fella a chance anyway is what I say

He said those things at the press conference after the game. Looks to me that he wasnt bothered tbh...

He is a winger not a striker. His assists are quite low but chances created fairly high. If Rom didn't score any from the assists Del boy created then Dels stats would look poor also. Not his fault if the strikers can't convert the chances he creates.

He's not a bad player in my oppinion, he is different to what we have- a left midfielder and someone who draws defenders to him because he is so dynamic. The price seems high but I trust Koeman, look at what he has brought in so far.

Because they will probably use the money to get Benteke or get Niasse from us on loan. Someone must have shown pardew Niasse's highlight videos that we had before we signed him.

I think benteke would be ideal in our system. Can hold the ball up and scores goals...also a big lad which koeman seems to like.

Sadly by getting bolasie lpool can sell him.
