Why are some people surprised that Bolasie is good? Have you ever really even seen him play before, or just happy to say he's rubbish because he's been playing for Palace?

Love that roll thing he does to get the ball bobbling a bit just so he can have a good old fluke style power through a set of defenders. Ace.

Great debut that. Made a real difference when he come on. The difference with him compared to our other wingers is his strength and power. Even when he loses the ball he manages to use his strength the get the ball back again and look to get past the defenders.

So those stats that show he doesn't provide many assists, maybe cos people keep missing sitters he puts on a plate could be a reason, should have had 2 today, brilliant 20 minutes by the lad

I am always saying on here that "assists" stats are not always a great barometer of a player's effectiveness.

Bolassie should have had two today, as you say.

Next week he might mis-hit a shot which is going well wide only to be knocked into the net by Rom and he is credited with one

Does any team have better selection of wingers? With Bolasie, Del, Kevin and Lennon we have tons of pace, trickery, creativity, goalscoring ability and workrate.

It's a beautiful sight for a fanbase who not so long ago were used to Osman on the flanks.

i could play against the lad for 4 hours and still not tackle him. Nothing he does looks too natural, but he will be an utter enigma for defenders to try and figure out.

will be brilliant near the end of tight games either keeping us creating chances or to try and kill games off late on.
