I cant believe we have effectively swapped Bolasie for Benteke!

In all seriousness he is a good player on his day, he just got too big for his boots here at Palace and stopped playing last season.

His crossing has improved massively over the last 2 years, his shooting hasnt really, he is a bit like a train, once he gets going he is hard to stop.

He swerved afcon once to focus on palace I imagine he will do the same for us

He is a good player but not a £30m player, I think if you judge him on his fee I think you may be dissapointed but If you just accept prices are crazy now and think of him as a dangerous but slightly flawed player he could become a crowd favourite.

Could go either way, depends whether you guys back him or not, most of them time he really tests your patience.

Have you seen benkeke these days, he was rubbish for the rs. Static and no pace at all. He not been the same since his heel injury.

There's a reason Benteke went to you mate he seems finished his heel injury has took what little pace and mobility he had no one else seemed willing to risk the money very breve of the palace board hope he works out for you lot have a soft spot for you after you helped ruin the kopites title parade lol

don't base benteke on his liverpool form. He wasn't really given a fair crack of the whip. Too early to say he's finished from his injury, it'll take a lot of recovering, but the RS fans are the type not to get behind some players before they've even started. I'm a big fan of his, hope he re-discovers his form, palace have massively overpaid there though.

We haven't had a winger who could cross in a long long time (Geri is OK at it). So yea we desperately need a guy like that. We have 3 pacy wingers now, all of which run hot and cold but now with numbers we could hopefully count on one or 2 of them being ace every week.

Benteke is good, however I think he's mostly suited for hoof-ball so you'll probably have to play that way for him to be at his best.
