When he was bought for 30mil, I thought he was over priced by at least 15 million. I don't think he is ever going to be 'world class' but he offers something different and a great option on the left. Which Everton have been lacking.

He's had a very good start to the season and if he carries on as he is, he'll be worth the money.

A winger - Morrisey, Thomas, Steven, Kanchelskis and others- bombs down the wing and cross for a CF - Joe Royle, Latchford, Gray/Sharp, Ferguson - heads it in. We have a long history of wingers laying a cross on the plate for a centre forward to head in, long may it continue.

Gotta be honest I was one of the ones who were hesitant especially at the price but if he keeps these performances up it would be more than return for the fee. Have a feeling he's getting up to speed at just the right time too. Boro home next week then Bournemouth away and finally Palace at home to round out September.
All very winnable games. Dare we dream?.

Why not ? No one has turned Sunderlad over let's face it we could have scored ten!

It was a brilliant result...good have even been better as you say, but WBA, Stoke, and Sland aren't exactly a murderer's row.

I'm just gonna take it one game at a time and enjoy it. The fixture list does set up favorably, so let's hope we continue to take advantage of it.

Indeed. Calm, grounded, and one game at a time is the way to go.
