Yannick Bolasie

I don't.

There'll be games where his crossing is as poor as his shooting, or where his control is as poor as Lukaku's can be, but I won't then be saying: "There you go, that's what you get for £25m+"

I still think we've paid well over the odds, and last night's performance is gonna have to be repeated many times - and against far superior sides - before I change my mind.

I'm a harder taskmaster than Ronald, in that respect.

But it isn't Bolasie who sets his price tag mate.

Koeman wouldn't have sanctioned the deal had he not been sure Bolasie would be key for us. He's shown in every game he's played so far he is capable of creating chances - last night was the first time we've been clinical enough to put one away (and even then Bolasie could easily have had another two assists and a goal of his own).

He's not set his fee, but he's got it to live up to.

He was always good against us, the shoite and arsenal (I'm reliably informed) but was off the boil in loads of other matches for palace. One outstanding match against a relegation candidate and a decnt one against a middling club isn't enough to swing it for me just yet, I'm afraid.

When he's terrored the shoite and the arse, and gone to to the likes of hull and terrored them on a cold wet & windy Wednesday night...;)

Haha, nah I do get you - but I'd advise you if you get chance to watch a few of Bolasie's clips from last season/year before. In every video there's clips from matches against pretty much every side where he has created tons of chances (and I remember a lot of the games as well).

Clearly, it's a highlight reel, but some of the crosses he gets in are superb, and any decent striker would have finished them off. Had Palace had Benteke, for example, this time last year, you could have seen Bolasie easily been up into double figures for assists.

He IS inconsistent though which, tbh, is why he's at us and not at one of the CL clubs - as if he had that consistency he'd be unstoppable. Pretty sure he'll thrive in this side though. The signs are positive so long may it continue!

Zip it and eat your humble pie Dixie.

Thought he was a bit of a show boating [Poor language removed] when we bought him, but his work rate is outstanding and not what I was expecting from him.

his strength is very good, gets him past defenders like our other wingers cant...its great to have 4 wingers all with different qualities

Another brilliant signing, just like Gana and Williams, at this moment the transfer window didn't look too bad in the end, needed a striker as Rom backup, let's hope he stays fit till January at least.
